Kingdom Education unites the home, church, and school through a biblical philosophy of education for the purpose of educating future generations to think and act from a biblical worldview.  Parents and teacher are in partnership with God to educate children holistically—spiritually, cognitively, socially, and physically—for the Glory of God.  This is accomplished through spiritual training, worldview orientation, academic thinking, and skills development.

  • Students are introduced to reading using the simple steps of phonics. Beginning with learning sounds of vowels, then consonants, students quickly learn to join the sounds together to form words. There is an emphasis on writing readiness, eye-hand coordination, visual perception, and listening and thinking skills. Students grow and develop through character training, STEAM activities, recess, weekly Chapel, Bible class, Scripture memorization, and enrichment classes. Enrichment classes include physical education (PE), recess, and music.

  • NTCA primarily uses Abeka curriculum to provide a well-rounded education that presents a biblical worldview and biblically based, Christ-centered education in all disciplines. Biblical concepts are integrated into the curriculum of all core subjects and enrichment classes, such as PE, music, and art. Core classes include Bible, English/Language Arts (ELA), Reading, Phonics, Spelling, History, Math, and Science. Cursive handwriting instruction begins in kindergarten.

  • Bible is taught as a non-denominational core class. Students will memorize Bible verses and/or Bible passages appropriate to their age level. The objectives of the Bible Curriculum are to assist students in understanding Bible Truths, to assist students with Christian character development, and to train students to skillfully handle and use the Word of God. Students will use the Word of God daily and be encouraged to become life-long learners of the Bible. All students participate in worship in the weekly chapel. Parents are welcome to participate.

  • Monday – Thursday specific uniforms are required. On Fridays, staff and students enjoy wearing blue jeans and NTCA school t-shirts. Uniforms may be purchased from Lands’ End online or at the DFW store location.
